Live Luxuriously, Not Broke, in the Buick Avenir Lineup

By | August 30th, 2018

Buick has been steadily working toward tackling some of the most luxurious automakers, and it took a huge step in that direction with the release of the all-new Avenir sub-brand. Comprised of two models, the LaCrosse and Enclave, the Avenir sub-brand pushes the Buick lineup to a whole new level without breaking the bank.

2019 Buick LaCrosse Avenir

2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir

The 2019 LaCrosse Avenir starts from $45,795 and boasts some of the most premium features available from Buick. It all starts with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that cranks out 310 horsepower and pars with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The smooth power delivery combines with the Buick QuietTuning noise-cancellation system to keep the cabin peaceful and comfortable.

To set the Avenir apart from a normal LaCrosse, Buick added upgraded features like an exclusive grille, unique 19-inch wheels, and Avenir scripts. Other premium features include 8-inch infotainment system with navigation, panoramic sunroof, Bose Centerpoint audio system, HID headlights, a head-up display, heated front seats, remote start, fog lights, LED taillights, ambient lighting, Avenir floor mats, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-change alert, blind-zone alert, lane-keep assist, rearview camera, in-cabin ionizer, and more.

Looking for a little extra from your LaCrosse Avenir? Opt for the $1,690 Driver Confidence Package and get advanced adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist, automatic emergency braking, forward pedestrian braking, and rear cross-traffic alert. An extra $1,300 adds the Dynamic Drive Package, which include 20-inch ultra-bright wheels, real-time damping suspension, and Sport Mode selectivity.

2019 Buick Enclave Avenir

2019 Buick Enclave Avenir

Like the LaCrosse Avenir, the 2019 Enclave Avenir takes everything buyers love about this Buick and cranks the luxury to an “11.” Setting this special Enclave apart from the rest of the lineup is its three-dimensional chrome wings on the exclusive black grille insert, the exclusive wheels, and Avenir script.

While its exclusive features are great, what really puts this model on the map are its more upscale features. These include a Bose 10-speaker audio system, heated front seats, heated power-adjustable side-view mirrors, remote start, SiriusXM, heated steering wheel with power tilt and telescope, 20-inch wheels, navigation, 360-degree camera, lane-keep assist, forward collision alert, adaptive headlights, LED headlights and daytime running lights, and more.

Just like the LaCrosse Avenir, the Enclave Avenir has a few packages to luxe it up further. Add more tech with the $2,095 Avenir Technology Package, which adds the Premium Suspension Package, real-time damping suspension, adaptive cruise control, and grille shutters. The $1,150 Hit The Road Package adds a few road-ready features, like molded assist steps and roof-rack cross rails. Finally, unlock the Enclave’s full 5,000-pound towing capacity with the Trailering Package, which includes a trailer hitch and a heavy-duty cooling system.
