2019 Buick LaCrosse Gets an Added Dose of Sportiness

By | July 7th, 2018

Not that the 2019 Buick LaCrosse was lacking in style, but Buick announced it will liven up the sedan’s appearance with a new Sport Touring model.

The Sport Touring model will roll in boasting a monotone theme that includes a body-color grille surround and side vents in the place of the chrome units on the rest of the lineup. This model will also gain a small rear spoiler, a black mesh grille, 19-inch Midnight Silver wheels, and “ST” badges on the trunk lid.

Under the hood, the 2019 Buick LaCrosse ST will come standard with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that will crank out 310 horsepower. Buick will pair this engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Buyers will be able to get the 2019 LaCrosse ST in five exterior colors: White Frost Tricoat, Satin Steel Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat and Ebony Twilight Metallic.

Besides the new ST model, the 2019 Buick LaCrosse will undergo a few other changes. Two new colors will grace the options list — Carrageen Metallic and Pewter Metallic — while the Avenir model will gain a new standard air ionizer to eliminate odors.

Pricing for the entire 2019 Buick LaCrosse lineup will come at a later date, but Buick announced the LaCrosse ST will start from $40,295 (including a $925 destination fee). There is no mention of a release date for the 2019 LaCrosse, so stay tuned for updates on this and full-lineup pricing.
