We recommend using your cell phone. Yes, seriously. That way, you’re able to shoot, edit, and upload to YouTube all on the same device. For students who are not graduating seniors, we will hold that money with the Saginaw Community Foundation until the student is ready for college, university, military, or trade school. The money will stay in an account Garber has with the Community Foundation and set aside, ready for use when the student enrolls, either full-time or part-time, to any college, university, military school, or trade school within a two-year time limit after graduation.

Garber is dedicated to your privacy, and we do not sell your information or your likeness. The video you upload to your YouTube account belongs to you, and after the contest, you can take it down as you please. We will ask winners to email us a copy of their videos so we may host a playlist of videos on our YouTube channel to show off your hard work. We might use winners’ videos as example videos in promotion of next year’s scholarship. If you have further questions about what we collect and what we do with it, please check out our Privacy Policy and Official Rules.

We have selected a third-party panel of judges from the Saginaw Community Foundation that will be reviewing the videos and deciding who is the winner for each category. Employees of the Garber Organization have no impact on who is chosen as a winner.
We will reach out by phone and email to inform the winning students. Please be sure to check your devices frequently in July to see if you’ve won!
